During your proposal meeting we will go in depth on your business, your needs, and how we will meet them. During the meeting we will provide you with your formal proposal. If you accept the proposal we then begin the on-boarding process.

During the onboarding process, we will help establish a strong foundation for your financial management. Our goal is to streamline your operations and improve efficiency, helping your business thrive and grow. Together, we’ll set up the essential tools you need to succeed.

Expense and income tracking

We’ll record and categorize all financial transactions for your various business accounts.

Account reconciliation

We’ll make sure that all of your financial transactions are accounted for and categorized correctly with account reconciliations at the end of each month.

Monthly financial statements

We’ll make sure you know the financial health of your business by issuing a Balance Sheet, Income Statement (also known as the Profit and Loss or P&L) and Statement of Cash Flows at the end of each month. (Additional statements, like Accounts Receivable/Payable Aging Summary, are available as well depending on your business’s needs.)

I’m Conner Schryver and I founded Bookkeep & Prosper with a mission of creating more free time – not only for myself and my family, but also for my clients. I graduated from Whittier College in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance. After college, I spent several years working in sales for an industrial manufacturing company before moving in with Dana and joining the administrative team at a small private school. While I loved my work, I always had the ambition to one day start my own business. And thus began Bookkeep & Prosper!
Bookkeep & Prosper was a labor of love that I undertook in addition to my full time job (with a side of coaching high school athletics in the afternoons). With the imminent arrival of our daughter and together time being woefully short, Dana and I decided to live the dream of working together and for ourselves.
I am the owner and senior bookkeeper for Bookkeep & Prosper (or Chief Mugwump as Dana likes to call me). Putting my years of study and experience to good use, I am actively involved with all of my clients – by not only keeping my practiced eye on their books but also collaborating to work out the best strategies for helping my clients maximize their business’s potential. I enjoy staying engaged with the bookkeeping/accounting world through podcasts and additional coursework. I am passionate about my business and I look forward to putting in the work that helps you get back to your business passion!
Dana Schryver
Professional Bookkeeper
Dana was born and raised in Massachusetts. She graduated from Colby College in 2010 with a degree in Art and Classical Civilizations. Not long after graduating (maybe even before walking to get her diploma), Dana realized those areas of study were difficult to pair with a job in the real world. Dana was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work at a private boarding school in California for 10 years following her graduation from Colby. While she loved her time spent working in education, Dana and Conner both felt short on family time. With their daughter on the way, Conner and Dana decided to transition away from their full-time jobs in education and go all-in with Bookkeep & Prosper.
Fast forward to today, Dana is doubling as a bookkeeper and stay-at-home mom. Bookkeeping plays well to Dana’s strengths – she is highly organized with an eye for detail. Dana is a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor and looks forward to keeping a keen eye on your books.
Janice Southey
Executive Assistant
Janice Southey is an experienced executive assistant living in South Africa. She holds a degree from Rhodes University and is a member of the Virtual Assistants Association of South Africa. She has also achieved the "Fully Booked VA Certificate" from the Horkey Handbook. Her friendly, helpful attitude, experience, and creative problem-solving skills make her an invaluable member of our team.
Amanda Fronek
Professional Bookkeeper
Amanda Fronek is an experienced and talented accounting and finance professional with a degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. She has over 10 years of experience in accounting, having served as an accounting staff associate, full charge bookkeeper and most recently as a Deputy Trustee of Finance and Administration, providing her with a unique set of skills to bring to the team. Amanda is a native of Indiana and has a great appreciation for the Hoosier State. She is organized, motivated, and a great communicator, making her an ideal team member.
